MED. 2025
Our story began 5 years ago, when our paths crossed in 2020, a rather unique year that ultimately changed our lives. Since then, we have shared adventures, laughter, and challenges that have made us stronger. After several moves, different countries, cities, jobs, and new beginnings, we are more excited than ever to take this big step together.
In 2024, we proposed to each other in a coincidence that reflects our connection. Today, we want to celebrate our union surrounded by the people we love most. We deeply appreciate the support and affection you’ve shown us over the years, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Some of you will be traveling from abroad. Here are some recommendations to help you plan your trip in the best way possible.
Enjoy your stay and take the opportunity to explore the beautiful places of Colombia!
This is the main airport for arriving in Medellín, located in Rionegro, 45 minutes from the city. There are different ways to get from the airport to the city. The most recommended option is to book a transfer, or let us know so we can help coordinate it for you.
Several major airlines fly to Medellín from cities in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America, such as Avianca, American Airlines, LATAM, KLM, Air France, Iberia, and Air Europa.
We recommend booking your flights in advance to get the best rates. Most visitors from the United States, Canada, the European Union, and many other countries do not need a visa for short stays (up to 90 days).
Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of entry.
----------------
The process to obtain a short-stay visa for Colombia is done entirely online through the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Follow these steps:
1. Complete the online form: Enter your personal details and the purpose of your visit.
2. Upload the required documents: These may include a valid passport, a recent photo, and proof of financial solvency, among others.
3. Make the payment: You can do this directly on the platform using a credit or debit card.
4. Wait for the response: You will receive an email notification with the approval or a request for additional information.
Note: We recommend starting the process well in advance.
If you have any questions regarding payment or other procedures, feel free to contact us.You can check the specific visa requirements on the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website:

Medellín has an efficient public transportation system, which includes the Metro, MetroCable (cable cars), and buses. The metro is a fast and affordable way to explore the city. As it is a city with heavy traffic, we recommend leaving with enough time to reach your destination.
The most efficient way to get around will be by taxi or Uber. We recommend using Uber, as it is a more reliable service, and you'll know the exact price of the fare. Don’t be surprised if the driver asks you to sit in the front seat, as this is common.
You can rent a car if you'd like, and it will be useful for exploring nearby places or getting around the city. However, keep in mind that people drive differently here. Drive with caution.
Medellín is known as the "City of Eternal Spring" because of its pleasant weather year-round. Temperatures range between 18°C and 30°C. You’ll experience both sunny and rainy days, so we recommend bringing the appropriate clothing.
The local currency is the Colombian peso. You can use debit or credit cards without any issues, but it’s always a good idea to have some cash on hand for smaller establishments.
We suggest exchanging euros or dollars at established exchange offices, which you can typically find in shopping malls. Here are some recommendations:
1. Unicambios, Oviedo Shopping Mall
2. Divisas El Tesoro, El Tesoro Shopping Mall
3. Money Xchange, Santafé Shopping Mall
Enjoy your stay and take the opportunity to explore the beautiful places of Colombia!

Known as the "City of Eternal Spring," Medellín offers pleasant weather and a rich cultural scene. Visit Parque Arví, the Botanical Garden, or Pueblito Paisa to enjoy spectacular views. Nearby, you can explore places like Guatapé, with its famous Peñol Rock, and Santa Fe de Antioquia, a colonial town full of history.
BOGOTÁ
The capital of Colombia, Bogotá, is a vibrant city with a mix of history and modernity. Don’t miss the Gold Museum, Cerro Monserrate for panoramic views, or La Candelaria, the historic center. From Bogotá, you can take excursions to Zipaquirá and its stunning Salt Cathedral or visit the Guatavita Lagoon.
CARTAGENA
Cartagena is famous for its stunning walled city, colonial architecture, and beautiful beaches. Strolling through the streets of the historic center will take you to the San Felipe Castle and the Clock Tower. Outside the city, you can enjoy the Rosario Islands or explore the beaches of Barú.
SANTA MARTA
Santa Marta is the gateway to the Tayrona National Natural Park, one of the most beautiful destinations in the country. You can also visit the Lost City, an ancient archaeological site in the Sierra Nevada, or relax on the beaches of Taganga. It’s also an excellent starting point to explore Palomino and its peaceful, natural atmosphere.
The dress code is formal or semi-formal. We recommend light colors and comfortable clothing as the event will be held outdoors. You can view examples on this Pinterest board.
